Taylor Swift was in New York about to head over to this afternoon’s soundcheck for her performance tomorrow on Live with Regis & Kelly when she found out that she had received a nomination for Favorite Female Country Artist at this year’s American Music Awards. Her manager, Rick Barker, called Taylor with the news that she had been nominated for Favorite Female, along with Martina McBride and Carrie Underwood, and that she has been asked to be a presenter on the show. The 35th Annual American Music Awards will be broadcast live on ABC from the new NOKIA Theatre L.A. at 8:00 EST on Sunday, November 18th.

CMA Horizon Award nominee Taylor Swift will perform two songs on Live With Regis & Kelly this Wednesday, October 10th. Broadcast on ABC affiliates nationwide, the top-rated Buena Vista Television syndicated talk show airs in New York at 9:00 a.m. EDT (live), in Los Angeles at 9:00 a.m. PDT, and in Nashville at 9:00 a.m. CDT.  For other cities, check www.liveregisandkelly.com for listings by area.
